Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Gynepedia Women Wellness Clinic collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who is responsible
GYNEPEDIA WOMEN WELLNESS CLINIC, 162/233 Lake Gardens, 1st Floor, Prince Anwar Shah Road, Kolkata 700045, is responsible for the information described here. For any privacy question or request, write to support@gynepedia.in.
What this site collects
- Callback requests. When you fill in the callback form, your name, phone number, the topic you choose and any message you write are placed into a WhatsApp message addressed to the clinic. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. The website itself does not store these details.
- WhatsApp and phone. If you message or call us, we receive your phone number and whatever you tell us.
- Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not set its own cookies.
Why we use it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry: to call you back, offer appointment times, and answer your questions. We do not use them for marketing unless you have separately agreed to that.
Please do not send medical reports or detailed health information through the callback form. Share those with the doctor during your consultation.
Who else is involved
- WhatsApp. Messages you send us pass through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and governed by its own privacy policy.
- Google Maps. The map on this site is loaded from Google. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.
- Website hosting. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and time of visit, for security.
We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an appointment are deleted within twelve months. If you become a patient, your clinical record is kept separately for the period that medical record-keeping rules require.
Your choices
You may ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may withdraw consent to being contacted. Write to support@gynepedia.in and we will respond within thirty days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Enquiries about a child should be made by a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
